Windows 8 Security Feature.

Inbuilt antivirus:

Windows 8 includes full anti-malware solutions. Its windows defender includes the full features of antivirus from Microsoft security essentials. This version of windows defender improves the performance of the computer setup as well as it also takes less amount of memory.

UEFI Secure Boot:

A rootkit usually tempers the operating system during the boot process, So UEFI secure boot feature prevent the rootkit from loading by validating the digital signature of all the boot components. If it suspects that any of the components is tempered then windows recovery environment will start and attempt to fix it.

Picture password:

It is a touch based security log in where the user selects the pictures and then make three touch gestures on the top of it. The sequence of these gestures works as a password for system.
